Celebrating 50 years driving the future of wellness.

The Annual Legacy Award Dinner not only honors a true visionary leader with the Legacy Award, but directly supports The Cooper Institutes youth programs, which inform, impact and inspire over 10 million children across the country each year to build the healthy habits they need to become the leaders tomorrow deserves.

It feels like common knowledge now that physical fitness is the key to good health, but fifty years ago that wasnt the case. The Cooper Institute was founded in 1970 by Dr. Kenneth Cooper, a visionary who understood the impact of aerobic fitness long before the medical community recognized its importance.
