Let's Toast, Dallas! is a quarterly event created in 2018 to celebrate the successes of Dallasites who are dedicated to making a meaningful and lasting impact in the DFW. This toast gives attendees the opportunity to share successes and resources, as well as, connect over common interests. It is our belief that life changing achievements are a result of the tiny actions taken every day in the right direction so we want to celebrate our attendees and serve as a push to keep going. This event also serves as an opportunity to give back.
Portion of proceeds benefit The Violet Hodge Fund, a donor-advised fund that serves as a giving vehicle to the Dallas Bethlehem Center. In partnership with South Dallas/Fair Park children and families, they create a brighter future through education, food security, empowerment and neighborhood development.

Women for Orphans Worldwide (WOW) will hold its 11th Annual WOW Luncheon and Guatemalan Market, December 9, 2019 at the Westin Galleria Dallas. The Heart of WOW Luncheon supports Orphan Outreach programs in Guatemala serving orphaned and vulnerable children and families, by providing educational assistance, outreach and other critical needs.
WOW, an auxiliary of Orphan Outreach, was started by a group of Dallas area mothers and daughters who went on a mission trip to Guatemala in 2009. The girls, then in middle school, from Dallas area schools including Parish Episcopal School, St. Monica Catholic School and Highland Park Middle School wanted to do more for the children theyd served. WOW was their answer. A legacy of giving and having compassion for others has been passed on to another generation, which was the goal of the founding mothers.
Today, these 13 mother/daughter duos continue to make an impact on the children of Guatemala. The group has raised more than $1.2 million, taken more than 1,000 people on 50 WOW mission trips, and its members have held countless fundraisers and supply drives.
We never imagined it would turn into something so impactful, said Tiffany Taylor Wines, Orphan Outreach Vice President of Development. In the 11 years since WOW was founded, we have seen the lives of thousands of orphaned and vulnerable children in Guatemala change for the better. She added, Our desire is to get more people involved by attending the luncheon, shopping at the market, and traveling on a mission trip to Guatemala. The needs in Guatemala are overwhelming and WOW makes it easy to be part of the solution.
